Organic Golden Tip Pu-erh
Ingredients: Organic black Tea pu-er (shou)
Origin: Yunnan, China
Flavor Profile/Process: Very earthy, distinct aroma. Very bold and dark cup. This pu-er tea is a shou pu-er, heated to “cook” the leaves, then aged in specially designed caves or climate-controlled rooms. This tea undergoes a "composting" procedure through which helpful bacterial growth is encouraged by introducing moisture to drying piles of tea leaves, which are regularly turned & tended. There is then a 30- 45-day settling period after wet piling.
One ounce of tea yields 15-18 8 oz cups of tea.
Care Instructions
Water temperature full boil for 4-5 minutes.
For long term storage store in a tea tin or an air tight container.
